How to Get Involved
RAIN is a Business Resource Group for LGBTQ+ and allies working for the State of Washington. With supervisor permission, employees are able to use 2-3 hours of work time every month to participate.
General Membership Meetings are open to all state employees. They are currently via zoom and scheduled every third Thursday of the month 2–4 p.m., followed by committee work time 4–5 p.m.
Email RAIN@ofm.wa.gov for more information on our upcoming meetings.
New to the group? Consider arriving a few minutes early to talk with the co-chairs about areas you might like to get involved! We also offer time at the beginning of the meeting for new members to introduce themselves (completely voluntary).
Leadership: Elections are held annually for the four officer positions. There are also many leadership opportunities to co-chair a subcommittee or represent RAIN at events and trainings on an ongoing basis.

Hey Folks! Please Note: RAIN only shares Washington State Employee and Washington Institutions of Higher Education job opportunities. We email listings twice a month to our members and depending on job closing dates we may not be able to get to a posting in time. Please submit with as much advance notice as possible. We appreciate it!
