This sections contains general information about the LGBTQ community in Washington state. Several nation-wide surveys have been conducted that show the number of LGBTQ individuals in the USA. It is the plan of the LGBTQ Commission to conduct a state-wide, comprehensive study to determine the most accurate count of LGBTQ people in Washington. In the meantime, we share the information on this section to offer a snapshot of the community.
