Event Description

The Washington State LGBTQ Commission will host its May public meeting on Friday, May 17th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

This will be an in-person public meeting with no live broadcast. The public can attend in person and public comments will be received both in person at the meeting and in writing prior to the meeting. The public comment period allows 2-minutes for any individual to share their ideas or thoughts on issues that impact them as a 2SLGBTQIA+ Washingtonian – especially any potential policy suggestions or issues that they face when working with state agencies. Please note that to allow for time, this is not a time that Commissioners respond to comments, it is a time for them to listen and receive suggestions to consider. Written submissions can be any length and will be distributed to the Commissioners prior to the meeting.  If you want to submit public comments prior to the meeting, please direct them to Sawyer Tuttle, Executive Assistant for the Commission at sawyer.tuttle@lgbtq.wa.gov.
